BCHR is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2015.

About the Job:

The project Manager will manage the project and coordinate between the project’s team and WFP.

The Project Manager will oversee and manage the entire project responsibilities including the coordination and completion of project activities on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects including financial and program planning and reporting. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

1. Supervise the implementation of project activities in targeted areas.
2. Supervise the registration of beneficiaries and verification to ensure the correct procedures are followed in accordance with the guidelines and procedures provided by donors.
3. Raising weekly, monthly and final reports by the donor by approved models.
4. Work as a link between targeted areas, coalition and donors; Maintain good relations with beneficiaries and leaders / local authorities; A report on any specific problems to the coalition administration.
5. Follow-up periodic reports and achievement reports of the various activities of the project.
6. Coordinate with relevant local authorities and related parties to facilitate project action.
7. Prepare the executive plans for the project and follow up their implementation.
8. Manage the overall delivery of the project interventions in the targeted areas.
9. Oversee and manage the implementation of the project ensuring that technical quality and standards are considered and respected during project(s) implementation;
10. Assess the activities undertaken and ensure efficient use of resources;
Reporting
11. Provide regular and timely updates on progress and challenges to supervisors and other team member.
12. Supervise work staff and follow up their implementation in accordance with the project plan.
13. Responsible for communication between project management, donor and coalition management.
14. Solve any problems object to project.
15. Follow-up of financial and administrative procedures with donor and coalition.
16. Proven abilities in information analysis and strong English drafting abilities.
17. Manage the overall delivery of the project interventions in the targeted areas.

19. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
20. Any tasks costs them within its jurisdiction.

Essential Requirements:

1. University degree in project management or a similar field.
2. 5 years of experience in a similar field.
3. Proficiency in the English language.
4. Good management and planning skills with ability to solve problems.
5. Good computer skills
6. .Relevant professional experience in humanitarian affairs, emergency preparedness, crisis/emergency relief management, rehabilitation, development or other related areas.
7. Good level of communication skills.
8. Computer skills: Fully proficient computer skills and use of relevant software and other applications, e.g. word-processing, spreadsheets, internal databases, internet, etc. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software would be an asset.
