This Tuesday, the BCHR organized a closing ceremony for the first phase and the launch of the second phase of the FFA project in Hadramout Governorate.
At the ceremony, the First Deputy Governor of Hadramout, Sheikh Amr bin Habrish Al-Alii, emphasized the importance of the project's activities in reviving the economy and pushing forward the development process in the governorate, praising the interventions of the WFP and the BCHR in the food security and livelihoods sectors.
The representative of the WFP Office - Mukalla Hub, Mr. Abdurrahman Basalama pointed out the importance of the project in rehabilitating community assets and strengthening food security of the beneficiary families, emphasizing the deep partnership between the WFP and the BCHR, which reflected a good image of the organization’s interventions.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, a photo exhibition was held highlighting the first phase outputs of the project interventions as well as the second phase activities.
It is worth noting that the project, in its first phase, targeted 4 districts with 2,000 beneficiaries, while the second phase targeted 6 districts with 5,000 beneficiaries.
