This Sunday, the field teams of the BCHR carried out trips to homes to raise awareness of cholera in the districts of Qishn and Haswain in Al-Mahra governorate.
The volunteer teams provided an explanation about the nature of the disease, how to prevent it, and the correct ways to use the disease treatment that was distributed to the beneficiaries of the WFP food. This comes as a part of a campaign supported by the World Health Organization that was launched months ago.
In return, the people expressed their gratitude for this kind gesture of the World Health Organization, the World Food Program, the UAE aid, and the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, which will contribute to limiting the outbreak of the disease.
