This Sunday, December 20, in the city of Mukalla, the BCHR signs a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Education to distribute 20,000 school bags to students of the most needy groups. This was funded the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Actions (KS.Relief).
The agreement provides for the provision of 20,000 school bags, including stationery, distributed in 6 governorates: “Hadramout, Al Mahrah, Abyan, Lahj, Al Dhale'e and Ma'rib.”
The project aims to contribute to securing education for students, relieving affected families, reducing the problem of school dropout, and creating job opportunities for low-income families by contributing to the preparation of locally-made school bags.
