According to WHO estimates, hunger and disease threaten the lives of 80% of the Yemeni people. In addition, millions of Yemenis are unable to receive treatment, in light of the fact that 50% of hospitals are out of service, in addition to an acute shortage of medicines, medical supplies and health services in general.
In partnership with local and international organizations, the BCHR improved the infrastructure of many hospitals and health centers, and contributed to the reduction of malnutrition rates through projects, targeting mainly children and pregnant women.
