Since the beginning of 2015, displacement has been one of the most prominent manifestations of the humanitarian crisis. According to the UNHCR estimates, IDPs in Yemen are estimated to be more than 4 million, living in difficult conditions far from their homes and deprived of basic needs.
Most of the IDPs have poor purchasing affordability to secure non-food needs in terms of shelter and other materials to secure livelihoods. The BCHR had a key role in securing shelter and basic life requirements for hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries, whether by operating shelter centers, or supporting IDPs camps, in addition to distributing shelter and non-food items.
