In January 2018, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by K.S.Relief, operated an air and land bridge to provide relief to the IDPs and the affected people, as part of the comprehensive humanitarian operations plan in Yemen. The BCHR, through its field teams, took over the task of receiving 12 flights, and dozens of trucks through the land ports, carrying food assistance, as well as shelter materials. During a record period, the BCHR distributed 5,000 food baskets and 20,000 cartons of dates and shelter materials, benefiting 102,000 beneficiaries in Marib, Al-Jauf, Albaidha and other governorates.
