There are many forms of suffering in Yemen. In every city, in every corner, there is a story of pain and a story of suffering.. "Zhour Omar", who has a permanent disability, is one of the millions of Yemenis who have been stricken by the humanitarian crisis.
Zohour, who lives in the city of Mukalla, Hadramout Governorate, lost her parents "mother and father" at an early age. With the absence of a breadwinner, she was forced to live in the house of one of her relatives, and because the situation is the same just like the suffering, Zohour thought of gaining a skill through which she would obtain a source of income that would help her face the circumstances of life.
Two years ago, Zohour joined a sewing course within “My Skill in Hand" project to improve the livelihoods of orphans,” which was implemented by the BCHR, and funded by K.S.Relief.
The story is not over yet. Weeks ago, Zohour participated in sewing homemade school bags, as part of the project to provide school bags for Yemeni children, in exchange for cash support that contributed greatly to providing many of Zohour's requirements that remained on the waiting list for a long time.
“ Tanks to the BCHR and K.S.Relief for this opportunity, I really benefited greatly from it,” Zuhour said, while her face was overjoyed.
