This Wednesday, the BCHR signed a partnership agreement with the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Relief (KS.Relief), to implement Food Security project in 10 Yemeni governorates.
The project includes distribution of 98,360 food baskets, benefiting 122,970 individuals from the most in need groups in the governorates of "Al Dhale', Al Hudaydah, Aden, Al Bayda, Soqatra, Hajjah, Saada, Al Jawf, Hadramout, and Al Mahra."
The project targets 15,573 families with periodic food assistance for a whole year, in addition to allocating 4,922 food baskets for emergency cases.
The project covers 51% of the IPC in the fourth phase in the 23 targeted areas.
The project aims to secure food for groups suffering from severe food shortages, including the IDPs, the most vulnerable families and the destitute.
