Background

BCHR is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2015.
Position Objective
• To conduct regular field monitoring of project activities, verify implementation against approved plans and indicators, and collect accurate and reliable data from targeted schools.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular monitoring visits to targeted schools.
• Monitor the implementation of school feeding activities.
• Verify the number of targeted and participating students.
• Monitor the distribution of school meals and commodities.
• Collect data using approved monitoring tools and forms.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of collected data.
• Document field observations, challenges, and implementation gaps.
• Monitor project indicators and provide timely updates.
• Collect feedback from students, schools, and communities.
• Support beneficiary satisfaction and feedback activities.
• Immediately report serious concerns or irregularities to the supervisor.
• Prepare clear and timely field visit reports.
• Support project assessments and other M&E activities when required.
Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field monitoring, data collection, or similar work.
• Experience in humanitarian or development projects is an advantage.
• Ability to use electronic data-collection tools and applications.
• Good observation, verification, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of targeted schools and local communities is an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to undertake frequent field visits.
