Background
BCHR is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2015.
The primary aim of this project is to provide 915 displaced households in Marib governorate with a semi-durable, locally appropriate emergency shelter (Iron Net) and priority household items. The project will also include emergency prepositioning of a less comprehensive shelter package (tarpaulins and rope) to enable rapid response to 500 households impacted by new disasters and displacement (e.g. flooding, conflict) that arise during the project timeline. The intervention will primarily be implemented in displacement sites across two districts in Marib

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

1. Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
2. Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.
3. Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, and labeling supplies.
4. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
5. Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
6. Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
7. Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.

Qualifications and skills
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2. Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
3. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
4. 2+ years of experience in storekeeping.
