Funded by K.S.Relief, alternative classrooms were opened this Monday, in Al-Raida and Qusay'ir district, Hadramout governorate, as part of the Back to School project "second phase", implemented by BCHR.
During the opening ceremony, Mr. Abdulaziz Bawazeer, Supervisor of the Coordination Unit at K.S.Relief in Hadramout, emphasized that the Center aims to support the educational process by delivering 16 ready-made classrooms today in A-Raida and Qusay'ir, and Hajar districts, in addition to the 14 classrooms that the Center had previously opened in the districts of Wadi Hadramout.
On his part, Mr. Awad Ba'abad, Director of Education and Training Administration in the district, confirmed that the project will contribute to providing new educational opportunities for children in the "Asd Al-Jabal and Thoub" regions in addition to the surrounding regions through the alternative classrooms. He expressed his gratitude to K.S.Relief for implementing this project, which will have a significant impact on the stability of the educational process.
The people of Al-Rida and Qusay'ir expressed their happiness with this project, which will contribute to the continuation of their children's education, after several schools were damaged by the Cyclone Tej that hit the district months ago.
The project includes the provision of 95 alternative classrooms and the distribution of school bags to students studying in the governorates of "Lahj, Hadramout, Hajjah, and Abyan".
