This Tuesday the BCHR continued disbursing cash assistance to the IDPs in Marib Governorate, as part of the Emergency Response project funded by Oxfam.
The project aims to save the lives of conflict-affected communities in Marib Governorate, by distributing unconditional cash assistance to 1,280 displaced families to meet their basic needs.
The project targeted 462 newly displaced families from the camps of Altawasul, al-Khair, Weidat Al-Ra’, al-Dashush and Al-mil, to All-suwayda camp, after their camps were bombed with rocket-propelled grenades early this week, as a result of the events taking place in the western districts of Marib Governorate.
The assistance provided by Oxfam in partnership with the BCHR will alleviate the suffering of newly IDPs who lack the most basic needs for living.
In the same context, the Director of OCHA, Mkalla, Mr. Niazi bin Salman, inspected the process of disbursing cash assistance to the IDPs, praising the good arrangement, organization and delivery of assistance to beneficiaries with ease.
