This Wednesday, Jan. 27, a WFP team inspected the FFA project progress in Burum Mayfa District, implemented by the BCHR and funded by the WPF.
The team, consisting of Mrs. Maria, the WFP Office Director in Mukalla, Mr. Muhammad Qasim, Livelihoods and Resilience Projects Officer in Yemen office, Mr. Bakri Othman, the office director of the Food Security Vulnerability Analysis Unit of Aden, Mr. Khaled Al-Dhabhani, the Program Officer in Marib office, and Mr. Ragheed Al-Kuwaili, M&E Assistant of Mukalla office, watched the work progress in both the Saltern (sea salt production) Rehabilitation asset, and the Protection of Agricultural Lands by Gabion.
The team praised the level of work in rehabilitating community assets and the benefits it brings to the beneficiary areas, appreciating the efforts made by the BCHR's field teams to make the project a success in coordination with the local authority.
The team listened to the feedbacks and impressions of a sample beneficiaries of the project, who expressed their satisfaction and the extent of their benefit from the project, which comes under difficult circumstances the country is going through.
It is noteworthy that the FFA project targets 6 districts in Hadramout governorate with 5,000 beneficiaries, including 800 in Burum Mayfa district.
